Frances Colliery Memorial

The memorial consists of three stone slabs depicting scenes from the Frances Colliery, honouring the people who worked and died there. The colliery was one of the last operating pits in Fife and a major employer in the area. Fondly known to locals as The Dubbie, the Frances pit was reputed to have been Scotland's oldest colliery before finally closing as a working pit in July 1987.

It is located at the east end of Dysart on the Fife Coastal Path.
